What is there to say? It is portable, yes. You can save things on it, yes. It is black, yes. Every box is ticked. Nothing special or outstanding about it.

Good speeds, good looks, and a slim form factor all under $100 - what else do you need? I hooked this up to my Xbox One S, formatted it, and it was good to go. 1 Month in and it's working just fine.

I think this was most definitely a great purchase for me.

Everyhthing is allright except for its connection cord or power cord. It gets loose very easily. While you are transfering data with avery small touch or move, it is disconnected. This is frustrating.

This is great HD. The major problem is the backup software, I could not set it up even after reviewing several sources online about it. so I gave up and I am using the windows 10 backup setting for it.

Its my first time trying WD and everything has been very smooth until now. Exited to see how it performs in the long term as its pretty cost effective.

Desperately needed for back-up, it took several weeks to get the hard drive recognized by the PC and regularly working.

Very average performance over USB3. This slowed the host Mac down so much as a secondary drive it was relegated to a TimeMachine (backup) disk. Good for storage, not for performance

I am only giving this one star, because the system will not allow me to give it negative start. I recently got this drive(Less than a month ago), against my better judgment because I have not had good luck with Western Digital products in the past. The price was good, and I thought I would give it another shot. Well I plugged it into my computer tonight, to find some files, and it won’t register. Now I am not happy, but the computer I was on is older and maybe it was that computer, so I plugged it into my newer computer I use for editing photos and same result. I will be returning it to the store, but I know they won’t be able to get my files back, and WD is absolutely no help recovering files. It is my fault for trusting WD again. Guess lesson learned and I will never purchase anything WD again.

I always default to WD Passports over the years and have never had an issue. They do go on sale though regularly, so just make sure you don’t overpay.

Simple. Gets the job done. It does feel like you have to be super careful to not bump it or hit it. So be sure to store it somewhere REALLY safe. Price was just okay.

This portable hard drive serves my needs for external data storage.

Brought this product for dual transfer and saving documents between my imac, ipads, and my pc which uses word so it works for me.

I should have gotten this myPassport over the easyStore, because the myPassport is password protected, a nice feature to have.

Used for xbox one game storage. Just hooked up and xbox did the rest. Bought on sale and was a good value

i had to replace old one with this new drive. portable drives have kept breaking up. so i had to replace it with new one . i had geek squad protection warranty, anyway.

Purchased as External backup drive to replace similar that Geek Squad said was the cause of my Mac crashing.
