great portable drive for backing up photos without using the cloud when internet is not available.

What can you say? It does what it is supposed to do

This little hard drive saves so much space on my computer!

Works great. I've had three different generations of this external hard drive. Fast, small, and lots of colors if you need to get one for your girlfriend's Xbox, win win.

Large hard drive. I like the light blue color so it is not mistaken for another external hard drive that are mostly black.

Increase my music file storage capacity. Worked great right out of the box. USB 3.0 cable included, no issues. This is my third WD external hard drive. Satisfied.

Small light works niceley plugged into a pc or into the usb port on my router. Gives me netwoor attached storage.

I use multiple portable HD's for backup. This drive was a replacement for a drive that was stolen. I found it easy to encrypt and faster than expected to which to write.

fits the bill for storing music files to use in my new car. Wish I could just use my cds but have to move forward wit new technology and this is it.

I have found Western Digital to be my go to for reliability.

Although I had trouble setting it up and figuring out how to use it, once that got ironed out I am very happy with this product. I would give it two stars for ease of setting up, but 5 stars for backup storage ability.

Works well. A good drive at a reasonable price. Doesn't seem to generate as much heat as the older models did.

Bought this for a family member, family approves! I bought my own WD external HD for my MacBook Air (Mac Only), and WD has not disappointed me yet

So far, so good. I've had good success with WD in the past, and this seems to be working well. Definitely better than Seagate (had three of those fail).

Excellent use of the portable passport which gives plenty of storage

These are great little drives. Especially when on sale. Cheap storage. I use them to backup family videos and photos along with my Audio Engineering files and movies.
