Fast & compact.

The included cable is just long enough (~16") for my situation, but may be short for some people. Compact if you need to transport, and since it doesn't need external power is convenient. I've used the Passport series of drives for years w/o any problems.

I like this Hard Drive

I have several WD hard drives. Never had a problem. But I have heard that hard drives can suddenly stop working. So, I always backup my files in 3 different hard drives. It is never a waste when the files are precious and even just important. I have to wait and see if this hard drive also turns out to be as reliable as my previous ones.

Used as NAS

4TB External 3.0 USB Portable Hard Drive

Great Bet For The Cost

That was my 1st mistake. I had a 1TB Seagate and it was easy and flawless. I stuck to my gut and ended up with this. Easy, copy & paste. Free up space in minutes. I highly recommend!

This 4TB baby cost just over $100 and uploaded its operating software much faster. We’re so lucky to have a company like Best Buy with stores close by where we can ask questions from knowledgeable people and walk out with the product we need.
