Great littlw external HD.

The bigger ones always seem to have issues. These work by just plugging into the usb, no external power needed. They are fast and efficient too.

Great for back up Storage

I first bought a 1 TB SSD that was fast, but couldn't back up my I Mac Pro. I got this HD, 4 TB for it for a great value. I would recommend this hard drive for any one needing backups for time capsule. Haven't had any bad issues with it either.

This works perfect for both and is fast working also.

The Jury is Still Out On This One

The backup software is constantly running in the background and chewing up about 50% CPU. Going to stick with it to see if things get better over time. It has a huge capacity, yet takes up only a tiny footprint on top of my desktop system.

Treat them gently, don't drop them, get a case to carry them around in, and they will probably last a long time. I've been a heavy computer user for many years, I'd totally recommend these.
