Good stuff! Works great! Meets and exceeds all my expectations. I wanted to purchase the 5T model, but they were out of stock. However, this one is perfect for my use.

So far so good. It was easy to plug in and transfer all of my pictures. I have about 150,000 photos and several videos and I STILL have room for more!

This thing is massive yet so convenient and lights It's fast, efficient, attractive, and basically will solve any problems you're having (related to external hard drives at least). I use it for time machines and other large documents. Glad I bought it!

Great little external HD that is easy to use and fits all my backup needs. Only thing is it should be the same price aa all the other colors. But it is more expensive.

Thia thing works exactly as it should. Fast, reliable, and plenty of space. I moved my media library for Plex off of two internal hard drives and onto here and it all runs great. No speed issues or buffering at all. Perfect way to clear up space in my case.

There isn't much to say about external hard drives these days. They are pretty much a commodity. The hard drive works well. It is early on so I can't speak to reliability, but I have had other WD external hard drives that go and go and go... So I am hopeful this one will last a long time, too.

This drive is pretty good if all you really need is an affordable way to do cold or maybe even warm backups, but it isn't terribly fast on my systems. All that being said i'm very satisfied with the capacity and the modest reasonable write/read speeds.

Great drive. I bought this drive for my wife to store her work product. She is a published author with about 30 books on Amazon. The drive has plenty of room for manuscripts, PDFs, cover art, audio book files, etc.

I love this hard drive because it’s convenient. I can slip it into my photography bag or even a small backpack or pocket and I take a lot of pictures and it has been my best friend so far.

I liked my original so much I bought a second one. You can never have too much backup protection and I don’t like the cloud. I like to keep my files duplicated on a backup drive but sometimes the drives will fail, so I like having a backup of my backup.

Western Digital has become my disk supplier of choice. WD has established the disk storage standard. Sure, it is still rotating storage but can you image 4 Terabytes of hardware encrypted storage for about $100. I've been in IT for about 50 years and remember when a single megabyte of storage was more than $100.

Works how it should. Easy to install and use. Fast USB 3.0 transfer speed. Nice color, stands out compared to black and grays that are the norm. Light and easy to carry and transport. Would recommend for anyone looking for a portable drive.

WD makes the best portable hard drives - this is my 4th external HDD from them, and all 3 of my prior drives are still working fine. I needed something larger to backup all the backups and it's doing the job fine. Fast enough for a non-SSD, plus it's a pretty red color.

This was a great price, I like that you can set a password and it's plenty of space and you can partition if you like. You can format it for whatever you like. I choose FAT32 format becuase I don't need to save files over 4GB but I do need to use it for both my mac and pc.

Great value for money! Plug and Play but optional software on drive seems to be required at start up - but is not. Just plug it in and start using.

Great little hard drive and the guys at Best Buy formatted it for me to fat 32 so the service was great and the product is great

needed a new back up hard drive as my computer's motherboard fried. Fortunately my tech guy was able to pull the 800GB of data off of it and store it on this. It has plenty of room, fairly fast connection to the data. I also have a WD cloud that works great, this will just make my life that much easier.
