I now have four of these 4TB external drives and use them to back up three HP laptop computers and other miscellaneous archiving. Have used them over 3-4 years without problems. Very reliable.

This external hard drive is great! WD makes great devices. Easy to use and setup. It will even let you add a password so you know you're the only one that can get into it.

I purchased two of these to complete daily backups on my Microsoft 2016 server. I initially purchase 4 TB Seagate drives but neither of them would successfully run a backup. No problems with these WD drives

If you are looking for additional storage space on your computer system, WD - My Passport 4 TB Eternal Portable Hard Drive is excellent.

I have a bias for preferring Western Digital products, but it is because they have been reliable. Would recommend.

It’s working well and it stores lots of games , I haven’t even got it full yet . It does seem to take more time that I’d like , making me wish I had the more expensive models . All in all it does the job , it will simply take a few minutes to get a new game started.

Great for clearing out hard drive space. Bonus that you don't need an AC adapter to access it.

Filed up my old 1 tb backup drive so I bought this WD drive which is big enough for the next few years. It initially backed up the complete drive on my PC and once I week it seems to get anything new or updated.

I love that I can put my photos on the external hard drive and they are all in one place and I have more room on my computer. The hard drive has lots of space for my thousands of photos! Really happy I got it!!

These work great for saving AVI movies that I move from TV to TV for watching saved stuff when I don't have access to streaming services.

I use a Macbook Pro 2019 and was aware that additional steps are required to be able to use the Hard Drive on macOS. When I connected I followed the installation for Mac that it provided but at the end I was unable to read and write on it. After searching up solutions, one person said to format it to exFAT and that solved it. To do that go to Disk Utility Application, click on the new drive, click partition, then format to exFAT. You also don't need the additional software it asks to install unless you want to put a password on the Hard Drive. Minus one star because the multiple WD software I installed didn't work at the end.

Dope, fast, reliable, and mostly durable. Don't waste money on the "console specific" drives. They all do the same and ARE the same, only the "CS" version is overpriced for the same convenience.

I have used WD Passports for years. this is new latest technology, over my 1TB, and my 2TB. This one is fast and efficient due to the USB 3.0 capability. Great product and nice color.
