This is a great portable hard drive and a universe better than the Passport I used for years. Easy to use and fast to do it's job in backing up our business programs. I definitely recommend it!

So all in all this is exactly what it says. 4TB! Works great with my PS4, allowing me to download many large games! The only reason it isn’t a 5 star is because the connecter to the hard drive isn’t the best. I had problems with the cord moving just a little bit then the hard drive would be disconnected. But once I I put it a nice stable place I’ve never had that problem again!

I bought the 4TB drive to back up data and pictures on 2 different computers, One a desktop and one a laptop. The USB 3.0 coupled with an interface cable that was USB 3.0 also, made the data transfer fast and accurate.

WD have the best hard drives, fast and durable. Good speed, compatible with Mac or Windows, I have at least 15 hard drives for my different projects, from 1 to 8T, I prefer the small ones of 1T just for each project. I would recommend you WD brand.

Way clunky- thought it would be the standard passport size. I like the portability of the standard drives because I can attach them as backups to computers or my Arlo system, but I guess it is portable and has way more storage than a flash drive. Would be easier to buy again if it were smaller.

Very good storage. Beware apple users, you need to format the drive before using it. Besides that, it is terrific for storing projects. The connecting cable is not common so treat it well or you'll have trouble ordering a new one online.

The WD - My Passport 4TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive is a reliable HDD that I use for backing up my 'work in progress.' Read-write speeds are acceptable.

I recently purchased (4/16/21) the WD My Passport 4TB Ext. USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive - Red. Plugged it in to my computer. It installed properly. I transferred files to it. This was a smooth, fast transfer. So far, so good.

It is easy to use and just what I needed. It was a simple choice :)
