    Good solid HD for backup or storing images. I had an internal HD crash so this was perfect for restoring my iMac until I could get the internal HD replaced.

    Bought this to backup several computers we use in our household. It had no problem at all going from computer to computer, backing up the information, closing down and on to the next one. It will work on USB 2.0 ports, but you will notice a speed difference vs. the recommended 3.0 port.
