It was easy to install and back up my 1.5 terabytes of data. Every thing woked the first time.

Originally purchased for additional storage of arlo2. Unfortunately Arlo doesn't mention hd only allow maximum of 2 TB since they use only fat32 design. Thought I might use with Terk Digital Tuner to dvr save tv programs but unit draws too much power through tuner and unable to use. Just using as additional backup for pc with the Seagate 2TB and 8TB. Now have 4TB which may also use to save other files.

So happy I purchased this product, I can for so much more on this than other size memory units!

HD fit the bill and has been an excellent and reliable drive for backups.

I bought this drive for backing up my photos and videos and it works great. It would have been nice if WD included a USB-C cable or USB-C version of the drive. Currently, I have to use a dongle with my MacBook Pro.

Installed as a backup and file history drive. Drive has plenty of space, and has been working fine. No issues.

Not much to say about HHD. It does what is made for. Works good with windows 10. So far no issues.

This is just what I was looking for to backup all my music. It has all the room I need to store all my music .

Transfer rate is good once you get past the very beginning of the disk. Latency seems high as my one software program that constantly does a very large number of writes to disk doesn't work with it because it can't keep up. I think it's due to the use of USB3 instead of eSATA but USB3 most PCs have and probably higher Max transfer rate while eSATA less common. This software should probably be used with an internal drive with a different connector type. Would be nice if the company wrote the included software to work for Linux. My review might be a little harsh 4/5 since the drive does what it claims from what I can tell. However, I'll use the slower drive speed at the beginning of the disk as an excuse. Would be nice to review this drive in a year as reliability is my main concern.

Love this 3.0 USB portable hard drive. Extremely fast and efficient. Has a 3.6 Gb available after formatting.
