I love the ease and simplicity of this device. I store photo sessions on here and move files from my mac to my HP and visa versa!! Love it

I now use 3 of my older drives as a backup for the data on this drive. Great drive, lots of space, speedy and in an easily spotted color.

Great for storing and viewing movies and videos I've collected over the years. FINALLY something with enough capacity to hold all of them!

My Xbox One X 1 TB quickly was filled up and needed to put on some external hard drive space to continue expanding the gaming library. I purchased x2 of these instead of going with the MyBook because of size and not needing a seperate outlet to power. These fit perfectly on top of the One X and are silent! Worked perfectly!

This is a nice looking hard drive, it runs super fast with the USB 3.0 and I have had absolutely zero problems with it. I use it to store my steam games, and it's fast enough to play games off of it with no problems. It has some nice rubber footings on the bottom to keep it from sliding around, which was a surprisingly nice feature.

This is a great plug-n-play on Linux(Ubunutu). Currently running 16.04 LTS, and the OS has no problem recognizing and mounting this portable HD. I haven't tried running any scripts to auto-backup my folders. But for simple storage, and manual backing up files/folders, the ability to drag/drop various files and folders works flawlessly. Highly recommend.

Good size to carry great price easy to use and setup

No power supply needed. Just connect the usb 3 cable and your drive is recognized and ready to go. Transfer speeds average 90-100 mb/sec. I like the small size and have had good luck with a 1 tb passport I have been using for years. Fast enough to record directly to with Protools. Makes it easy to transport my sessions.

Great external hard drive. It can be used on both Windows and Mac operating systems. Best investment I’ve made for my laptop so far.

Western Digital has been my preferred portable hard drive so I may be biased. This new version is similar to the new style for the stand up hard drives- sharp edges. In any case the product is solid; 4 GB and plug and play without a hitch. I am pleased with the product, as well as the price ($114). It feels sturdy, works well, and looks fine.

i have a youtube channel ( HERVE"S WORLD) and kept filling up my computer hard drive with the sheer amount of data my videos aggregate , so i love the form factor , its highly portable, and holds a lot of content... its a must get if you are a content creator, i have done a review on my channel if you need a better look. don't forget to subscribe..

Just great. It just works. No need to worry about it. I tend to get more life out of WD compared to Seagate so I stick to these

Purchased to go with new laptop - have been using WD portal drives for years - they simply work. No learning curve or anything!

I purchased this external hard-drive for my gaming system (PS4), and it works perfectly. The store representative told me that it may take a while to format to the system, but it only took about a minute or so, and while there is large portion of the space forfeited in the formatting process, you are still left with well over 3 - 3.5 TB of extra space. No issues whatsoever as of current; downloads straight to the device work with no delays detectable. I would definitely recommend for the price.
