USB 3.0 speeds are quick for file transfers. Have a unique looking case so I know which one to pick up. Came with a blue USB micro 3.0 cable to match the case.

I purchased this drive so that I could do a complete backup of my PC. It has so far worked wonderfully and I have not noticed anything out of the ordinary with its function in this regard.

Great way to store extra files! However, a lot more common to store on the Cloud or backing up in iTunes these data.. still a great purchase!

I was looking to expand my PS4 memory, because 500GB fills up fast. For the price, this is a solid drive that gives me enough space to not have to worry for a long time.

Purchased to store games and apps for XBOX One X system. Works great and stores hundreds of games and apps. The XBOX internal drive is empty and speed is not an issue.

I always have bought these external hard drives. This one is huge - I saved over 15,000 photos and still have memory. I suggest saving them before there are that many though.

Needed a storage device for my documents. WD is a great brand, used it before, and have not had a bad thing happen to me with these devices yet.

Works perfect for backing up all the scanned documents that we took when we went paperless. We scanned the docs on a Mac and then accessed them back at the office via PC's.

I was able to get the WD drive for under a $100 and it has been worth it for its price compared to other sites. I haven't run into any problems yet and the transfer speed is decent enough.

I don’t know a lot about these things but my husband DJs so he has several of these loaded with music. These make it so much easier than carrying CDs around.

I picked this up for my XBox One, for all the games we have and I still have room on it. This is a must for all video game players that need the extra room for the full games you have.

The new WD My Passport is a pretty good drive. It's reasonably fast (USB 3.0) and lightweight. It included software for both Mac and Windows. My only issue (admittedly, a small one) is that we now have another form factor for the drive which means having to buy a different case for it as it really doesn't fit any previous WD cases.
