better than seagate drive

Owned for 10 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.ive purchased 4-5 portable hard drives in 3 yrs and this one lasted longer than seagate brand. whenever a portable drive makes clicking sounds, i get nervous since it shows the sign of starting malfunctions in drive. i dont know what causes mechanical failures on portable drive but as the capacity of drive increases, chances are its more likely to having short life. should i stay away from 4 TB ones?
