This is great storage to support our Xbox one games

Used this as an external hard drive on my PS4 Pro.

This makes for a great external drive for the XB1.

This product help save my data for backup purposes.

The WD My Passport 4TB does not come with a basic setup disk. Everything you need has to be loaded on WD's website which is a pain, and then you have to figure out what things you need/want on it. I got through it just think WD should make it basic 1 main install with what you "need" and then let the user customize it.

Opened the package and plugged into my desktop with the included USB 3 cable into a USB 3 port on my USB 3 hub. The drive powers off the port and I was able to start transferring files to it. I can't think of how they could make it any simpler. My transfer speeds were around 50MB/s which was good enough for my task.

Its very compact and easy to use for all my needs.

Did some research for an external HD for my PS4. Got to this one- was priced nicely compared to others. Works perfectly for PS4

I have had this drive for about a month and it has worked flawlessly. It's the only brand that our Best Buy carried and needed it in a pinch.

I couldn't be happier with this purchase. The drive is loaded with backup and security apps. I can't speak to those because I've ignored them so far in favor of simple file backups, which are straightforward as can be. The transfer speed is much faster than any other backup drive I've ever had.

This starts a backup almost as soon as you plug it in! Easy to use backup program. The only thing I don't like is how many times you have to click to see your files - other than that it works great. I bought a Seagate a couple of years ago and was always have trouble with the software. Not the case so far.

This is my 2nd. Having trouble and the disc isn't backing up. I bought a new one thinking that the old one was damaged. Still not cleared. Hoping to talk to someone soon at WD.

Compact size and fast storage. Works great as a backup device for my laptop. Very mobile and easy to use!

Bought this for extra storage on my PS4. Works well and hasn’t given me a single issue. I would recommend it if you’re going for hard disk drive and not a newer, faster SSD. All WD products I’ve purchased have been good quality.

The HD is easy to use and seems to work fine. I do not use the WD software, so can not offer any evaluation for the software.

My 2 - 1TB drives were starting to fail so I replaced them with this unit. No external power needed. Just plugged it into an available usb port and Windows 10 picked it up right away and assigned it a drive letter. Started transferring the data over with no issues encountered.

So far I’ve had no problems. Entering my data has been easy. It’s a matter of time to find out if this product will last. This passport is a replacement for my passport for Mac which failed after two years containing a lot of important data. Hopefully this one will last longer.
