After 2nd hard drive failure, reluctantly becoming more tech knowledgeable. Easy to set up and working well. Good price for storage size and piece of mind. Only found black in stock. Would go for color if found, to begin to differentiate units in my new redundancy plan.

Never used a Passport external drive before. I was pleasantly surprised. The drive is smooth, quick, quiet, and tough. I dropped the drive from 5 feet onto concrete. No problems with contents of drive. I would recommend this as purchase of value.

Had it for a couple months now and it runs flawlessly. I transferred everything to my new hard drive and everything is faster and of course no more deleting all my hard work on the local hard drive due to not enough space. Everything getting saved now.

Works great for backups and file storage. I have mine connected to a docking station for my laptop. It is always there when I have my laptop connected. I have been thinking about just connecting to the USB port on my router so that is available at any time.

I got a great price on this unit and it works as I would expect. That said, I would not recommend buying hard drives unless you need them. Price per gb continues to decrease over time. And depending on the need you may also want to consider cloud storage options.

Good hard drive. Storage capacity is good. USB 3.0 offer a faster data rate.

I store lots of photos and video. Storage is good enough for my need. I have been using WD and its reliable.

Purchased for son to transfer and save game files from XBox One. Very easy to set up and use.

This drive is a good product, but it lacks the "old" Thunderbolt port needed to connect to my 2012 iMac. As a result, I had to buy an additional adapter, which was an unexpected and unnecessary expense. However, the fault lies with Apple for constantly making changes to their products with little or no regard to compatibility issues with existing Apple devices. Typical customer gouging that we are increasingly subjected to by the socialists in Cupertino.

I like that its portable. The colors are also nice to help keep track of the different drives that I have.

Straightforward hard drive for extra storage space or backing up. Not the slimmest case, but not too bulky.

Its ok value 4tb for the price...but the design isnt great and size of the drive is bigger than you expect.

This is an excellent portable hard drive and a replacement for the powered one I bought several years back.

I use this to archive photos and rejected photos from my side photography business and i love it. Its only a temporary thing for now but i love western digital drives. cant never go wrong with them. I use nothing but western digital portable drives.

Setup was easy. Does what we needed it to do. Haven’t had to restore yet so we’ll see how that goes.

I bought this as a mobile back up for my media files. It has a super fast read/write speed if you are using usb 3.0, and has worked flawlessly for me. If you are going to be carrying this i would recomend buying a case for it. Definitely a good purchase.

In need of more space for your laptop this is a great choice. Fast to set up and easy to use.
