    Don't use the built in software for backup. I mounted a directory to match my desktop & copy files in & out of the Passport. That way I can plug it into any computer & restore all or some of the files.

    Anyone who has more than 6 games knows the pain of no HDD space. This 4 TB HDD is a nice form factor solution to the minuscule Xbox one storage. Available in a few colors, so got white to match the system!

    So far so good. I have used this as a traveling backup and work drive for video editing. It is fast enough to edit 4k clips in premiere without a proxy as long as you don't get to effects heavy.
