Bought instead of desktop version

USB-powered and plenty of storage to backup my MacBook Pro, and 1TB of random photos lying around :). Definitely recommend this over the desktop version at the same price. Who needs outlets??

Very nice external compact drive

Purchased on sale, and did not find for better price elsewhere. However, had some difficulty figuring out how to format for Mac. Took to store and Geek squad did for me which was terrific.

The USB 3. interface means fast file transfers and, obviously, 4TB is a whole lot of space so I think I can backup all my docs, music, etc with plenty of space to spare.
