Very good back-up storage device. Easy to connect and set-up to my laptop. Quickly accepted the transfer of all back-up materials. Reasonable cost. No issues.

The drive is very reliable. Very pleased. Works great with Nvidia Shield and Plex. I have over 700 movies/TV Shows on the drive and no hiccups in Plex.

For it's cost, physical size, and capacity, My Passport was perfect for me. It was an easy USB plugin and even came with great software for backups.

This is so much smaller then my 1T external drive. The best thing about it is no power cord and the price.

I had recently run out of storage for my PS4 so I decided to get this external HDD at the recommendation of the sales associate. It was real easy to set up and to move all my data to. One of the best things I like about it is it's pretty small and compact so it doesn't take up a lot of space.

New redesign looks nice and is a nice convenient size for travel. Just wish it came in a better box that could also be used for storage. Huge capacity!

WDD always makes great hard drives and this one is no exception. Quiet, easy to use and portable. The design is a little edgy but otherwise an outstanding product.

I use this on my Xbox One, and it works as intended. You can buy a 1 TB for $60, or this for less than $120 and get 4 TB. This is the better deal in the long term.

Bought this external hard drive to use with my PS4. Set up was quick and easy. Storage is as expected and works well with PS4. Will update is anything changes.

I have had this for about 9 months now and it is still working like a dream. The transfer speeds are okay via USB 3.0, and the size is small enough to throw in my bag. I use this to back up a few of my larger form factor external drives and it’s nice to have this tucked away on top of my desktop. The only con I have is the USB cable included is rather short and so placing the unit on top of my desktop impedes on one of my fans. It doesn’t prevent cooling significantly, but i wish I could have a bit more length in the cable

I've been using WD drives for years now and haven't had one fail on me yet. Their products are tried and true, and able to withstand hard use such as when editing high quality video footage or rendering robust effects, layers at a time. I'm just hoping for a Thunderbolt version at this price point, but I imagine that fructifying years down the line. A man can dream can't he? Oh, and drive speeds are up to par as usual. I think even those this USB 3.0 is similar to the previous model from 2011, the speed may be perhaps incrementally faster, but I could be stretching it a bit.

What more to say. Do you really wanna lose all your stuff to a system HD crash? Nope. The little workhorse will back you up! Very happy.

I like these WD external drives due to their physical size (small), their capacity (large at 4 TB) and speed (USB 3.0) Highly recommend!

I needed an external hard drive for a work application and this one met the size requirements. Setup was simple and made transferring large volumes of data a snap.

Great product at a great price. Lots of storage space, compact size, low price. Wish it was somewhat slimmer, but that would likely make the storage space lower.
