This unit has the speed to transfer data using cable provided. Plenty of space. Very small footprint.

Bought this hard drive to go along with a new laptop. I consistently see around 90 Mbps write speeds on a USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 type -c port which is a big difference compared to my older laptop that only had USB 2.0. The drive is very portable. I may buy another in the future.

Pretty much knew what I was getting here. I was sick of burning through the 1TB Passprorts from WD (which did fine also). For a little more money I bough a 4TB. Working great as expected and it will be a while longer before I have to mess with buying another.

I moved all my files from five old large external hard drives to this small portable hard drive in a relatively short period of time. Now, I have all my files on the portable drive to take them with me all the time. This hard drive is just what I needed and it works great.

I use this for the Xbox one. It works pretty well. I do not notice an increase of speed however, but I have not tried a "speed test". Just plugged it up, followed the prompts, and was downloading my games I had to delete and new ones in no time. I highly recommend this one

Works well. Comes with some bloat ware that isn't really necessary. But you can just format it to get rid of it.

I had to delete games as I was running low on storage space with my internal 1TB hard drive. I have not experienced any difference in game proformance or load times using this drive verus my internal drive.Great if you are looking for more gaming space.

I totally recommend this 4TB hard drive. As a DJ I need to carry a lot of music and music videos. Both of which take up lotta space. I highly recommend this for DJs or anyone that has large amount files they want to keep safe. Small portable and strong.

It is fast, easy to hook up, and is working quietly away. The 4TB capacity is great. Only time will tell about reliability but so far so good. Plus Best Buy had a great price with free shipping. I got the red one so it would be easy to find in an emergency.

This hard drive is ideal for back ups. I've always chosen WD drives to store my data for a decade now and I upgrade them every few years for more space and to avoid a drive failure, and WD has never disappointed me, lost data, or flat-out died on me.

Purchased this to use with my Xbox One. Fast load and transfer times with tons of space. I no longer have to decide which games to delete when I am downloading a new one. I can also take my games with me to use on friends and families consoles.

Its a hard drive that does what it is suppose to do and it is a nice color as well.

I needed more storage space and I've had great luck with Western Digital in the past. This hard drive fit my budget and game me an additional 4 TB to fill so it was a no brainer! Glad to finally see the prices starting to come down on some of the larger capacity drives.

I use Adobe Lightroom and take many, many photos on my trips around the world. This is an excellent external hard drive that I use to keep my computer's hard drive from filling up. I just plug it in to the computer when I work on the photos that are saved on it.

Got this to help with storage of the manny games I play and it works well. It is a great alternative to an SSD that would be far more expensive with the same storage. An SSD will still be faster but I fined I rarely ever need to use one.

This is a Great HD. easy to use after some initial set up issues with my MacBook.so much room for activities!

This item is the perfect size for traveling. I can store all my data that I will need or I will create (since I'm a photographer) without worrying about it. But you can also store any other information like movies for those road-trip with the family!
