Bought this to backup files so they can be stored at a location away from my home in case of a disaster. The small size and the case I purchased could be stored in a bank safe deposit box.

I have several of the Passport drives. Using for project archives for work. The drives are reliable and simple to archive to. The drives that are 4 years old keep working with no issues.

This 4TB hard drive is perfect for what I needed it. I am using it for my Xbox One for a storage unit for my games and it is perfect. I havnt had any flaws at all and i highly recommend it.

The WD - My Passport 4TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive was a great purchase. I bought it with intended used for my Playstation 4 and I was able to get it on sale for right around $100!

Western digital has been in the industry for a long time meaning they put out good products. This hard drive is an improvement over the My Book I used to own that eventually failed. If memory serves me, the power connector broke and the hard drive would not turn on.

I remember when a 4GB drive was hundreds of dollars and only available in the large format. This little drive does it job and does it well. I reformatted it for a Mac and it has worked perfectly.

This device is great. I needed to transfer photos from my laptop to free up some space and wow it did! I transferred over 3,000 photos and still have more space on the hard drive than i will ever need!

Overall it wasn't a bad purchase. However the load speed wasn't what I thought it would be. Best to start large files and leave it alone

I have owned several of the My Passports (1TB size) - this 4TB is the same size externally, but has 4x as much storage. I use these as a secondary backup for my servers - awesome product!

I needed more storage for my Xbox and this fit the bill. I like that I don't need an additional power adapter for this as I'm already using a lot of outlets near the TV.

I condensed five different drives worth of photographs onto this one drive. It is fast, reliable, and a great aid to my photographic library. All at a very low price. Love it!!!

It works smoothly. It comes with encryption software, and virus protection. Needed a new one since my 1TB and 2TB external hard drives were full. I personally like WD products, work and last great!

Needed another external hard drive for more storage and since I usually have a good experience with Western Digital and this was on sale, I got it. Have had it for about a month and so far so good.

This little guy is perfect for my Xbox. I have the first gen Xbox One, and its internal memory is garbage. Plug and play this guy and I'm ready to download all the games!

I bought this for a friend as a birthday gift. I downloaded a gang of movies on it and he has had no problems with it and he loves it. Plenty of space for him to load it up with whatever he wants.

This product was bought to store and backup my files. It has a ton of storage space and is perfect. I have yet to fill it up. So far, it is working great with no complaints.

Picked this up when I got a new laptop that doesn't have a big hard drive. It was on sale, it's easy to use, and fits my needs. Get a carrying case for it or use a pocket in your laptop case.

Love this compact external hard drive. Great for my Xbox One where it is easy to take out the USB and attach it to my friends xbox one and play my game without having to redownload everything.

Works great. I back up all of my documents to it. It's a good idea to be using more than one drive to back up because even the best drive will eventually fail.
