This hard drive has been great so far. It's smaller than I expected, which is nice. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a portable hard drive with a lot of space.

I bought this for my wife and I for our photography business it’s great it keeps down the cpu output on our computers as well as the extra space is wonderful

Face it, drives today are all the same. It is a 4TB HDD. It has a different design and is "new." Well always go for new, even a few months newer may mean updates system capacitors or other anomalies that have been fine tuned. I know it looks different with the funny design, but that's not why I got it. I like that is is the latest. I see they have different colors too, so that is neat. Keep the kids from fighting. The best thing is that it is powered by the PC, you do not need an AC outlet like with larger drives. Yipee.

Needed a larger hard drive for my Xbox One X. This baby does the job just fine. The only reason for 4 stars is it is significantly louder than the other WD My Passport X I was using. I have to lay the drive on a pad to prevent it from vibrating my media center. Only slightly annoying, so its not a deal breaker.

Bought this for my ps4. Works like a charm and have every game in my library on it. Just a little past half way used and i have over 100 games so that says alot.

I really needed this 4TB Passport! My laptop is full and need to remove things off of it...I like Western Digital products and the price is usually right on!

Took 43 hours to download 3.4 terabytes of pictures and data from four other external drives. Pleased with the accuracy and no longer needing to search through so many hard drives.

I been using WD for all my PC and over 10 years never have any problem so got to love this one as well if you looking to get one don't wait just get it you will Happy with this 4tb.

i've owned the drive for a few months and have had no hiccups thus far. I just use it to backup my internal drive and store pics and documents. Met all of my expectations.

First of all I love the color. I bought it to replace my seagate which I won’t go back to. I think WD is a better brand

I was looking for some spare space to transfer a lot of old files(2GB) and ended up with more than I needed. It may sound bad but I know I'm going to use all the left over space.

Got this to replace an external drive from a different company that died on me. I use it to backup my laptop and all other files. Works fast and zero issues!

4TB enough space to hold mine and my girlfriend’s entire collection of photos and music plus backups of two old laptops, one old desktop pc and two old external drives. I love having all of our data in one place. We no longer have to look for and figure out what drive may or may not contain whatever data we are trying to locate.

This is the second hard drive we purchased bc we filled the other one we had. It’s perfect for all the stuff we wanted to put on it. Will def but again.

I have used WD drives for years and refuse to use anything else. For the cost per GB or TB, the 4GB size is really the best price point available, especially if it is on sale.

WD makes a great external drive. This one is my third and I've never had a problem with any of them.

This drive worked very well to backup 10 PCs. Needed to get full system images, as I was upgrading drives for each. Restore went nice also. Highly recommend.

I have a number of these WD drives. So far have been very happy with them. They come in handy especially when needing to move large files from one computer to another.

I have been backing up up to this drive. It is very compact and so far working great. In addition, it does not require an additional power source which is helpful.

I have installed this drive as additional storage for my XBox One. This drive, as are my other WD Passport drives, is fast, quiet, and unobtrusive. The portability is a plus.
