Very pleased with this gift for my son. The added plus of getting it in black goes with his controller etc.

Small size, fast, looks great, hardware encryption, and huge 4tb were all factors in my decision buying this portable drive. It worked great and fast, no problem at all but after more than a month I got "drive error" on computer. I've trying to fix and repair on Windows but it seems taking forever, 1 day went by already still not done yet. I will find a way to return it.

This external hard drive from Western Digital is much better than previous versions. I bought a laptop and can keep all of that extra files storage on this 4T drive.
