Good for Xbox and PS4

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this hard drive as a birthday gift to my nephew who need extra storage on as Xbox one and it have formatted and everything went through accordingly and now he has 4TB of space for more games on that note he can now install up to about 250 to 300 Xbox one games, depending on their full size 275 might be the most but I have a 5TB external Western digital and I have almost 350 games on it and that's also got 1.2 TB hard drive space left

Speed was good for a hybrid drive this size. It does require it's specific USB cable that comes with the drive, to give you the speed. I bought this for my LG QNED tv I just purchased. It's now full and runs the 1080p and higher movies great. The only thing that would make this better is if it was a SSD.

Great for Time Machine backup

Even though this comes Windows formatted by default, when you assign the drive for Time Machine purposes, the MacOS will guide you through in reformatting it. This drives reduces the need for a power cord which reduces the clutter to your desk.
