Purchased this for a DJ friend who needed to unload his music onto an external to relieve the stress on his older model laptop! Mission accomplished! He’s loving it! It will take him forever to fill this thing up! Great find for a great price!

It works just fine. The major item was the amount of storage and it was a large storage external. I store large files, up to 500 mg ea.

Purchased for use as a travel & backup drive, as it has a much higher capacity than just a thumb/flashdrive. Excellent quality and usability as always from Western Digital.

Bought this to use as a backup drive for my Xbox Series X. Formatting the drive was simple and it filled its need perfectly.

Again, I use these for saving and moving AVI movie files when I don't have access to a streaming device. Many of my AVI movies are not available on streamnf services.

I have Ben an inspector for almost 15 years with performing and taking hundreds of Photos and And filling out hundreds of reports. This info is vital for me and I didn’t need to Lose it. This backup external worked fine.

I bought this drive to back up a NAS appliance at home. The availability of different colors is great for quickly identifying the drive. It has worked flawlessly since I purchased it.

Great for portable backups or for digital hoarders on the go! Worked great between different laptops (and phones with dongles) and worked super fast. Data cable could be longer, but, was long enough to get it connected and out of the way.

Easy to install. At 4TB there is plenty of room to store large files. I am using it mainly for all the pictures that I have accumulated and don't want lost. Great purchase.

All 4 of the WD 4TB Passports worked very well with no problems. Very fast with the USB 3.0 connection and relatively fast with 2.0 connections. Compact and portable for use anywhere. Would recommend purchasing.

Re-formatted it as EXFAT so I could use it for offline storage for both my PC and my Mac. Seems to work fine. I keep stuff on it that takes a LOT of disk space like hours of videos I've taken...

I'm using this for local backup via time machine. Works fine, sometimes fussy to mount and I have to entermy password, other times miunts immediately. That may be macOS being funny.
