Powered up and moved data at speeds that were expected. I'm trusting WD is encrypting the data as expected...I have not cracked the drive open and attempted to read the data "the right way" yet.

Ample storage for all my PS4 games

I’ve moved them over and have not had any issues with the PS4 reading them or the speed in which the data is read by the PS4. Great external HD

Great upgrade for a PS5 with PS4 games

It works great. I would recommend this for the PS5 so you don't use up all the internal SSD space which is limited.

It does seem to take more time that I’d like , making me wish I had the more expensive models . All in all it does the job , it will simply take a few minutes to get a new game started.

Great drives

I initially purchase 4 TB Seagate drives but neither of them would successfully run a backup. No problems with these WD drives
