You cant get much better for the price! Never a problem with WD, and with 4 tb i never need another storage device for at home. The portability of the device is also great!

Have not started to use this hard drive yet but a great size and Western Digital's is my choice of hard drives. Have other Western Digital's and have never had any problems.

Install was a breeze, all my games in one place and do not have to deal with scratch disks or no more space is my ps4

Price matching I was able to get a 4T for the same price price as a 2T else where. Easy to use and now confident my photos and documents are backed up safely.

It was incredibly easy to set this HDD up for use with my PS4. I needed additional space and this drive immediately increased that space and has functioned flawlessly...

So this external hard drive does the job very well! Its great on space and is excellent for traveling as well. Would recommended for a mid level storage device!

I have used WD My Passports in the past, and I feel comfortable in knowing that they are solid performers in saving my photos, etc. on an external hard drive. One important piece of advice I received years ago, after another company's external drive failed on me is: ALWAYS SAVE YOUR IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS TO TWO EXTERNAL HARD DRIVES. That way, if one fails, you've got a back up. I purchased two WD My passports (4TB) to replace the two I'd been using (2TB) that were running out of space. I'd purchased those older passports several years ago, and the new units (which doubled my storage capacity) cost about the same.

Excellent deal (when on sale), and 4TB in a portable drive size can't be beat! Gone are the days when you have to rely on a desktop external drive for that kind of storage.

It linked straight to the Mac without any extra programing it is just plug and play. it is small enough to carry to and from home with my laptop.

Although Cloud storage is good to have, It is still a very good idea to have a personal storage like this with you along with your laptop when you're about to go for vacation that you expect capturing a lot of photos or videos because some of the most beautiful parts of the US is also some of the worst places for digital communication including internet which cloud based storages relies on. I am very happy that this USB 3.0 compatible portable hard drive has shown me data transfers as high as 80 megabytes per second from my micro SD cards of my devices like phones and cameras...

If you want to take advantage of extended storage to your PS4, this is a good choice. Easy to setup and gives you plenty of room for games, applications, vids, and music.

Picked this up to augment my 500gb Xbox One S. Plugged it in and Xbox recognized it right away. Got a few games on it and have no problems playing what so ever. Works good.

Given the 4 TB capacity was amazed at how compact & portable the drive is. The setup was extremely easy, and have not encountered any issues thus far.

This product is great for storage. Easy to use. Only took a couple of minutes when I plugged it into my PS4 pro.

Very compact. And easy to set up. I was able to back up all my music, pictures and important docs. You can set it up on schedule to back up your hard drive as often as you would like. I only gave it 4 stars because I have only had it for 3 weeks or so and don't have enough history to know how it holds up etc.
