I needed a hard drive to port files back and forth to work, and this has done a great job for me.

As storage gets cheaper, I keep upgrading but I think this one I will not outgrow for a while. WD has always been very reliable.

I assume this is a great product, my son ask for it for Christmas and I know he does research.

Bought one in November for my son's game system. Decided to buy one for my other son for Xmas!

I have switched pretty much completely to wd passports as they are reliable and have a lot of good features including back up and encryption. Now they go up to 4 TB. The only thing I don't like is this new external case which has sharper corners than the old case

Looks good and works great! Using it as additional storage on my PS4. Reads and writes quickly!

I've had a few Western Digital external drives over the years. They're all still running great. I expect this one to run for a while as well. This drive worked great to back up my work computer prior to being rebuilt to Win10. I expect this drive will eventually be used with my Xbox One.

Great portable hard drive. It’s very. Compact and easy to hook and use. No problem transferring memory.

I use this as a backup to my home pc. Still easy to use. Plug it in and update every so often. I also have a backup hard drive in addition to a solid state drive for the os in my home tower. This is used as a second backup just in case.

WD does it again! I have had the 1TB, 2TB versions of this and have no issues. When this came out on sale I know I had to get it. Now, i can save all my files and backups and carry it without having to use an ac adapter like their bigger desktop versions. Also, it has 3 yrs warranty.

After comparing prices in different stores, I went up to the store closest to me and the gentleman that helped me suggested upgrading to the 4TB which was only $10 difference, and I believe he was right! This external drive is light, small and easy to carry with all my other stuff

fast easy to use, more is better but you need to back up regularly as if you somehow drop it. (while on)... you may have nothing. I have done this by accident 3 TIMES...…once was a total failure the other two times some data loss..... good thing I have my backups.

WD always makes a great product. Have used WD products for a long time and they have always lasted long into newer technology. Bought for my xbox one and it works great. I still have a giant 2008 1tb desktop storage device from WD that I still use. Great products from great company.

So far, this has been a problem free portable hard drive. It has been my experience that usually if there is a problem or quirk it takes time for it to show. However WD makes great hard drives and I would bet, if asked later, I would still have no complaints.

Hard drive works great and was easy to set up. I use it with an Xbox One and it gives me plenty of room for games.

Essentially I am not a big fan of cloud storage but I keep all my files in an external drive. I was going to get the 6-8TB but do not want to carry an extra A/C adapter. I love the portability and being able to carry it with me to continue my film projects.

These hard drives from Western Digital are easy to use and can also be encrypted. I have bought multiple in the past and have no issues in connecting, using or transporting. These have the traditional hard drives in them but are well built and stylish as well.

For years I had been having problems keeping up with my large digital music collection. This hard drive has been perfect with space to load my files and correct them with working from two separate computers. Highly recommend!

Bought this hard drive to go along with a new laptop. I consistently see around 90 Mbps write speeds on a USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 type -c port which is a big difference compared to my older laptop that only had USB 2.0. The drive is very portable. I may buy another in the future.
