When I get notifications that new Xbox One games are going to require 100+ GB of space I realize it's time to add an external drive. I've used Western Digital before and have been very happy.

Is a great external HDD, keep safe the information.

No problems so far. Works great and has a ton of storage space. Sometimes it doesn't always transfer files very fast, but that could just be my computer.

I love my Western Digital Hard Drive.It has plenty of storage for my media. And I love the security with password protection .

With larger files and backups, physical storage needs to be larger as well. Cloud services are available but expensive for this kind of capacity. This hard drive is working quite well, no issues, had it for 3 months now. Good price for 4 TB. Could be sleeker and lighter but still works fine. Not extremely fast like the solid state drives but not a snail either.

great product buy one every year to store my data!

I was looking for a portable hard drive to back up a computer with five years worth of files before dismantling it. The 4TB My Passport did the trick with plenty of space left over.

I bought this to backup my new laptop and have been very happy with its performance so far. I want to make sure I have backups of photos taken on the road and this makes a good device to carry on trips.

I like the compact size. Works like it's supposed to! I was originally going to buy a Seagate drive but saw too many bad reviews about drive failure. Save your self the headache and get a WD drive!

These are the only hard drives I'm comfortable with so these are the ones I recommend been using them for ten years now and no problems just make sure you have a back up hard drive to your back up just in case

Storage works great with PS4 after update 4.50. I moved all my games I don't play regularly to the drive. I can still play them directly, but they load longer than when the games were on the internal hard drive.

I had purchased a WD storage device about 3 years ago and I finally reached capacity. This one I purchased was double the capacity and cheaper than the initial one. The response time for read/write is impressive.

I bought this looking to get something to store all my pictures in order to make photo books for my son and his cousins for Christmas. It has worked amazing and I never run out of room. I am very thankful :)

I purchased this drive specifically for use with my virtual drives, which can be 30-100 g or better. This drive fits the bill - i am able to not only save them, but use them from the drive as well.

I actually have three of these My Passport 4TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drives in red. black, and blue. I rotate the backups. All of them work great. Much fast than my old 2TB drive from another brand.

Needed more storage on my PS4, this fixed my problem. Load times do not seem to be affected, however I did not replace the internal drive with an SSD for best performance/comparison.

Got this to connect to my Xbox one s, it works perfectly! All my friends that own Xbox's have switched over to using these HDs. Highest recommendation for this drive, lots of storage space for a great price! A+

Amazing. Best Buy had a great sale on this hard drive and I couldn’t resist. I’ve always loved Western Digital, and the amount of movies and media I can put on this hard drive for traveling is massive.
