    I purchased this drive primarily as a backup drive for photos taken in high resolution, approximately 12 mb each. It has worked flawlessly in the background as I set it up on a schedule.

    I purchased this to serve as a backup drive in case I have to evacuate the house quickly -- just unplug and go. The Western Digital software that comes with the drive is also useful.

    This one was a little difficult to figure out at first on my MacBook Pro but once I did, it was wonderful! You have to buy a piece to be able to plug it in and use Time Machine to access it. Once you do though, it is as advertised, which is rare.

    I’ve used it on the Xbox and Windows computer and had no issues. You do have to change the format on it if you want it to store Xbox games though.
