While this device functions decently, the software that can be installed to use with this product is useless. Depending on your computer, it may have issues reading Microsoft Office documents directly from the drive. Id like to say this is a computer configuration issue, but it is simply the vendor accepting the manufacturing of poorer storage standards these days. Drive will store youre documents, but nothing special or great about it. Would rather look around at other drives in the future to avoid the bloat and document reading errors.

I look forward to the day that someone creates a storage device that I can drop kick a hundred times and my data remains intact.

It had issues being recognized, and would fragment repeatedly. I would reinitialize it load it up again, and it would eventually fail again at some point. This happened 3 times at least before lastly getting the click of death 1wk prior to writing this review. It began losing address, failing on uncompressing and writing large .iso or .exe files programs and games. Slow access time and writing times. It just couldn't handle the use, as I maxed close to the 5tb. So yea not a good experience with this one.
