Perfect size for my cluttered desk with plenty of storage!

WD Passport External Hard Drives are lifesavers if you keep a library's worth of digital media. Whether films, magazine articles, or e-books, you won't have to rent space at those storage centers if you have a few of these. The WD Passports hold less information than the WD My Book, but the Passports are smaller and easier to handle. The 5 TB Passport shown here can easily hold about 500 Hi-Def films.

This is a great backup drive for the Mac. I had an issue with a different brand portable drive that was originally a PC formatted drive that I reformatted for Mac. I choose this drive because it had good reviews and was pre-formatted for Mac. The drive is large enough for what I needed and was a fairly small enclosure. I really liked the USB-C connection. My Mac has USB 2.0 and 3.0, it worked great with my computer.

I do a lot of editing, so I need a vast amount of storage. This 5TB got the job done for my latest project. Plenty of extra room left over for the next edit down the road. My only complaint is that it does see a noticeable slowdown when half of its storage was used. However, since its not an SSD that's to be expected. For the price, definitely worth the buy.

This is best thing since sliced bread. It is small and easy to carry. I can put all my information on it and have it with me all the time. I should have purchased this a long time ago. I needed to store some old files on it and it worked perfectly. The salesman was over whelmed with customers but took the time to help me and explain the different items. He knew his job!

The product is user-friendly, and the transfer speed was impressive. However, I would not recommend purchasing this item if you are seeking store keepsakes or business items.

This little gem did the trick. It's slim profile requires extra attention so you don't lose it. I found the performance to be outstanding and the encryption feature never hurts. Best Buy had a great sale and I was able to get it at a great deal. You should replace your bulky shoe box with this deck of cards.

Pretty small and really good for carrying though if you plan on using it for a PS4-5 I'd suggest not moving them too much. I use it for carrying around so I have to use the original plastic container as a case for it.

Fits in my habd but is a few terrabites too cool great price too thanks to bestbuy and i can free up my pc of photos

Easy install, small footprint, great storage device for the price.

I specifically bought this USB drive for my xbox and have to say that this does the job really well. This drive is not only cheaper than the ones specifically designed for Xbox, but has a much better read/write, not to mention much cheaper and more space.

So I was in the market for a new hard drive. Now a days, seems like I need a new 5tb every month. I had to grab this one up while I saw it on sale. I have other WD hard drives, and none of them have failed me yet (knock on wood). Very satisfied with my purchase, does exactly what I need it to do. Which is to hold and store my videos that I do for different clients.

I needed a larger drive to save old FB videos to because of their new retention policy. This drive provides the space I need and allowed me to download them quickly. Now I'll be able to archive the videos and will also upload them to the new YouTube page that we will be creating.
