Sony finally updated the PS5, and now lets you transfer PS5 games to an external HDD, so I had to go purchase a big but affordable external HDD. This drive was easy to install has 5tb and doesn't need to be powered by an AC adapter.

Does what I expected it to do. Not much more can be asked. Be warned though, you loose about half a GB of data storage due to conversions of units.

This has been excellent storing all my media and files. Being able to take them on the go and plug in whenever, where ever is an absolute must. It's also very sleek, and not noisy to the ears.

I purchased this portable hard drive to back up all my digital pictures for the last 20 years. I have them all over on different machines and drives etc. I wanted to have one centralized location for them all that I could easily grab if I needed to evacuate for any reason. It works great, its fast enough and extremely portable.

I love this passport. This is the 2nd one I have bought. I have an enormous genealogy library so I purchased this 2nd external drive just for my genealogy files. Works great. East to use. Great price and value.

Great way to extend the usage of my laptop. Simple plug and play. No noticeable difference or lag when using it instead of my laptop's internal drive.

This is the correct size for backing up my 2 laptops on a regular basis. Easy to set up and use. It is reasonably priced and has plenty of space.

My GO-TO product! A great purchase and easy to use! Portable enough for my needs with extensive photos. Purchased this following issues with my larger device purchased previously. The MyBook worked fine however I like this storage device better.

No fuss, easy to use external USB drive. I'm using it as an additional off site back up of a Windows Server. Has a ton of space for my current needs and I like that it has hardware encryption if/when I need it. I do not have wealth of experience with USB drives. Therefore, I was not sure if marking this with 5 stars (excellent) would be appropriate; hence, 4 stars (good) only for that reason. Good is great, though!

Once I was able to get this synced to my computer, the operation has been flawless. The download, depending on the platform the consumer uses, and the accompanying instructions are not too intuitive (for understanding), and required a phone call for support. However, the support was tremendously helpful.

I guess it would be fine, but it just didn’t connect to my MacBook Pro. I had to buy a different one that’s made for MacBook. There is a way to get it to connect and I tried to download all the things that it told me to, but I still wasn’t able to maybe somebody who is able to spend the time to do it could do it, but I just didn’t want to deal and I just bought one that’s made for my MacBook instead.

Great for backups. Compact and easy to store anywhere.

This is my second purchase for my business use to store files. Compact, sturdy and portable with plenty of storage space for large photo files. My choice as a professional photographer and artist.

My husband purchased a new laptop, so we purchased a new Passport external drive to go with it. My husband is a physicist. Consequently, he downloads whole books full of information and equations. He also downloads videos to watch when the internet goes out. My Passport works perfectly well to store the downloads while having them ready to use when needed.
