Didn't last a year.

Fails after 6 months…. :,(

Both the USB-C and the standard USB 3 versions all fail after six months to a year. I take care of my drives & they always are in an enclosed hard case when it’s in my bag and yet here I am now replacing the drive that I just bought in July of this year and it’s only December. My Seagate 5 TB drive, which i have three of, all have lasted over two years in the same conditions….seems to me western digital has now fallen below seagate in terms of quality.. Never thought I would say that. :,(

USB Storage Device

The staff were extremely helpful with the location and purchase of the product. The website had accurate information on the stock and availability at the local Best Buy. Installation and operation was quick and easy. Works well and performs up to my expectation. My need was immediate and it was great to be able to go to the local Best Buy and pickup the device that day, no waiting!

Practical solution for heavy storage capacity
