I use these as backups and archives, good size. Hold lots of stuff. usually a good price. I use SSD for my travel drives.

This is the second WD Passport I have bought from Best Buy. The first one I bought at least ten years ago and still works just fine. I started using this one the day it was delivered. I highly recommend this device.

Thes drives are great for backing up pictures and other types of files. I have used these for years and are always a goto when someone asks me what to use for their personal storage.

Works fine. No issues installing software and setting up the hardware encryption. Drive is quiet, with great capacity for the buck! I got this to use for periodic archiving of files, so speed is not necessarily a priority but it seems reasonably quick. A plus is you can download the free WD Edition of Acronis TrueImage Backup software which allows you to clone and image hard drives. This version only runs if you have a WD drive installed or connected to your PC, but still a nice perk. The free version is somewhat crippled, but does all the important stuff.

A nice size hard drive in regards to storage and physical size and connected right out the box.

Easy to install and rock steady. I did not need SSD speeds for this backup/storage option. Great for backing up my over 300,000 photographs.

Plenty of space for installations. User friendly app that western digital made for it that keeps all of your western digital external hard drives together for easy access. Just don’t let it drop from a high surface or internals will break and there is nothing to do about it.

I've got this on my main system ( a laptop ) to hold an archive of Data, Videos & Music. It's small size and large capacity are ideal for what I'm using it for. WD has a good reputation with me.

I have about 15 of these (WD Passports of various capacities) from the past several years. I keep buying them because they are easy to use, and reliable - have never had them crash or get corrupted.

Capacity in a small package, not to mention portability, is why I got this drive.

Purchased this drive for storage of my pictures and data. It's a fast drive for what it's being used for. Transfers are pretty quick and I don't notice stutters when doing some light video editing on it. It takes up very little room on my desk.
