I've used several of these. No issues so far. They work well, small, I think pretty affordable. Hopefully just get better and better. I would purchase again and again.

I am a backup queen. If it's not in three places it doesn't exist (old school) but, it's proven to be effective for me. The particular 5 TB compliments my other WD passports and Notebooks. Easily load 3-4 in my camera bag every time I live my home / office or travel. I also have them off site. But they work amazingly fast and (knock on wood), I've never had one fail.

good drive for the money not super fast but fast enough you dont notice any lag in video of even some games

I own like 7 of these. I like to make several backups in case they break and so far none have. I feel very secure storing my most valued files on them.

I have same capability of External USB hard drive from Seagate couple of years since I had once WD Mybook 5TB, which failed after 3 months. I had hard time to recover all files from the failed unit. I hope this one don't fail. Until today it works fine though

Easy to install and to use. Great response wether I am browsing or loading info. Very compact so it doesn’t take a lot of room on my consol.

Pleasing and compact design (placing a minimal box around a physical hard drive). It's purpose was/is hard drive back up and excess file storage: it was easy to set up and had been reliably performing per schedule using the included WD software. It was also a great value when purchased on sale @ BB. I have not quantified read/write speed or disk access time. Plugged it in and set up per the included documentation. Used with a Windows 11 platform so was able to use with as-received disk formatting.

Great portable hard drive. Nice and small. Runs smooth. Use it for a music library in my truck.

I bought this as an extension for my ps4 and it works amazingly. Initially I bought it for camera storage (which works amazing) but decided I needed it more for my ps4 and I haven’t had any issues or complaints with it. I highly recommend for new and cheap storage!!

Speed is excellent. Small enough to be portable and durable.

Have always trusted Western Digital, not a bad price for the amount of storage you're getting. Not that much bigger than your standard external hard drive. Definitely recommend.
