So far so good. It’s only been a couple weeks but this has been working well with my Xbox one. I connected it to the back of the console using the wire that the storage device comes with. This has solved my storage issues so I don’t have to delete games to make space. Everything I download goes right onto this drive. I’ve had no errors or issues with loading games from it. I’ve only used the drive for this purpose. I do no modding on my Xbox.

I got the WD Passport 5TB external primarily for backups, replacing a previous drive that failed after 6 years. it's found double duty for file transfers as well. It's not as fast as a SSD, but faster than a USB stick. Works well, doesn't need a separate power supply, very convenient.
