Lots of data in a small package

A bit smaller than earlier My Passport drives, even though it has a larger capacity. I didn't use the software that comes with it. I just reformatted it to work with my Mac. It works great for Time Machine backups. Disk spins at 5400 rpm - not super-fast, but totally practical.

Tons space in a reliable, compact package

This is actually smaller than the previous model of the Passport, which is nice, plus it can definitely stand up to long hours of transferring, and I backed-up a TON of games from my PS4. Passport was great before, and it still seems to be great.

Solid external harddrive for the price.

Bought software online to salvage as much of my files as I could from the previous hard drive and so far this WD 5TB has held up. Would buy again.

Western Digital Dard Drives Are Always Reliable

Works good with LG TV's WebOS

We play all of our stored movies flawlessly off of this drive and subtitles work to. I've also used this model for file back up and restore as well, no problem.

Exceptional External Storage

My Passport Saved Me A Great Deal of Worry

Decent Hard Drive Unit

I have noted the speeds are average for an external hard drive. However, I have the same WD hard drive from 2-3 years ago and it works fine.
