This does exactly what I need it to do. Easy to install and easy to use.

I had purchased 3 of the 4tb from the prior generation this seems to be up to par yet had an extra terabyte. The HDD seems to perform just like it's predecessor, only time will tell if it can last as long.

Bought this passport to keep storage capacity on my desktop clear. I had a bit of a problem at first and thought that I would need to return it as it was not working, I finally figured it out and it works well for what I am using it for. Lots of storage capacity for the money.

I needed a place to store special files that I could use on two different devices and this is perfect

Scanning old photos and needing a great place to store them? This is perfect! My mom has tons of pictures from 80+years and now we can preserve the memories for generations to come!

I think I'm sticking with Western Digital for these mechanical hard drives. I just use them for back up but I've had 2 Seagate drives fail in the past month, whereas my WDs just keep on chugging along.

Please, for the love of all that is holly, make sure the drive isn't spinning when you moving the hard drive. They will last years if you don't do what I've seen.

WD has always been my to-go hard drive. Always dependable and reliable and I expect the same from this purchase. My favorite feature is the ability to password protect my data compared to most others.

Second one of these I've owned. Works well for bulk storage at reasonable cost.

I have found this drive to be extremely reliable and of a great value. Performance/speed is great for a portable hard-disk drive. Also love the modern design and size.

This hard drive is great in all categories, lots of space for movies and pictures. I currently have my movie collection in it and using this as a media server on my computer using the plex app. Very satisfied.

We recently had all of our old video's digitized. With the size of the files and with not wanting to take up all of the space on home computer this was the best choice for us. Works great and fast.

I continue to use Western Digital/SanDisk anytime I need new or additional storage. I know HDDs and SSDs fail and at the risk of jinxing myself I've never had a failure with one of their drives.

Got this for my PS5. I have a lot more space. I'm hoping Sony will allow ps5 games to save and play on the hard drive though. I can save and play my PS4 games on it.

Liked the design of the hard drive and the included to use the hard drive makes set up a breeze. Was able to use it right away. This drive also has password encryption should you choose to use it.

Simple to use and tremendous storage capacity. Those photos add up but I'll never run out of space now. Online purchase and curbside pickup made this the easiest purchase I've ever made.

Can displace warm air arround cabinet spaces. Other than that great thus far.
