    Had initial trouble in that Windows 10 would recognize the drive but not mount it. Turned out to be a bad/incompatible USB port on my computer. Almost gave up before realizing that problem. I didn't troubleshoot further - connecting it to a different port solved the problem and it has worked flawlessly since. One note: if for backup, you also want a complete image for restore, my software limited the available backup space beyond the image to 2TB.

    It works like it was intended too. There were deals for the seagate ones but I opted to stick with WD because the quality is supposed to be better.
