Would get a 5 star if the connection wouldn't go off and on. It will connect off and on even when stationary. It could be the cord that came with it. The device itself is great.

Great product that works as intended for great price

I purchased this device to store photos from my PC's, laptops, and iPads. The transfer was successful from two laptops, but an older laptop and computer did not recognize the device. The transfers I was able to complete were quick and easy, but still trying to figure out a way to get it to work with the other computers. From reading some of the other reviews, I can only hope that the WD-My Passport will not malfunction and that all photos will be preserved and always accessible.

This WD drive was a good price for a 5 terabyte drive

Lots of storage for pictures and videos. Replaced all my old ones

I can store all my photos and 3d animation projects and still have a lot of storage left to back up my computer. Love it!

As expected the WD-My Passport delivered. Has the ultimate amount of storage with the security needed to secure that data.

Great portable backup hard drive, light weight and reliable after almost a year of occasional use.

Works great, easy setup. My only disapointment is its not usb-c. Its usb-a to usb micro3.0B. I thought usb-c is a faster cable and way more universal but seems most all the hard drives come woth this cable. I have not seen this cable since the samsung galaxy note 3! :-D

It's bien a great decisión so far, not the fastest HD but it does the job really good for the price you pay. WD sales good products, given that they also sale SANDISK.
