This is a group product, it’s easy to use, it’s plug and play. I recommend this to anyone who needs to pick up their photos. The files or any documents has enough storage and so easy my mother could use it.

I bought this hard drive to copy files over as my older 2TB WD drive was getting full (after several years). I use the drives to store pictures mainly as I am an amateur photographer. Transferring files was a breeze. The drive is portable and the best feature is it's USB powered so no additional power cable.

This thing ended up being A MUCH BETTER BUY THAN ORIGINALLY THOUGHT! It was the EASIEST thing to install and setup, just plug in and format!!! Now I have tons of games in my off-line library, AND IT ACTUALLY MADE MY PSVR WORK FOR FIRST TIME! Ive had PSVR for 2-3yra now but it never worked because my PlayStation 4 is a first generation and is full of memory so VR would always crash during initial set up now it made it through set up in is absolutely incredible I wish I had got this sooner!?

It works fine. Finely doth it work. And exceptionally well, too.

I have about a half-dozen WD Passport drives that I use to back-up my collection of laptops. These drives are very high quality - I have not had a single failure for any of my WD external drives. They are fast enough to do what I use them for - mostly as offline storage, backups, etc. - and I always feel confident that the files are safe. My oldest WD Passport must be over 20 years old and still going. Simply outstanding quality.

A nice product. I originally bought one of these last year because I needed a good amount of storage, but small enough to Velcro to the back of a laptop lid. Just a few years ago 5TB would have been a WD hard drive sitting on the shelf. The tech has really improved (and in a couple years will be even smaller). Anyway, this is my second of these portable drives, and works quickly and efficiently, just like the first.

With the amount of info I store these days I find it easy to store and categorize my content and use on different computers with these little gems. I have 5 different units now and love em. I have given these out as presents and always got good remarks about them after they were used.

I purchased this because my last external drive malfunctioned and I could no longer access my files. I was able to restore a good majority of the files. I connected it to my macbook pro and formatted it to store files as well as be used for Time Machine. So far, so good. If you don't know about formatting, you might want to go ahead and get an external drive that is pre-formatted for macs to save you the extra steps.

I've been a WD user for years, and my 1TB was nearly full, so I went hunting for more storage space and found this 5TB one. I had it shipped to me but it got damaged in the mail and kept throwing up malfunction notices on the computer. Took the damaged one to Best Buy directly and they changed it out for a new one with no muss or fuss. The new one functions beautifully, and is only a few millimeters thicker than my 1TB external.

It is so useful and easy to navigate. It really helped me a lot with having extra storage for my files, photos and videos.

So far i must say this has been a big upgrade for my external storage i always look for deals yet it seems best buy always has the best one no matter the time of year thank you to everyone at bestbuy and i am so thankful for your geek squad members as well

Slim and compact 5TB Hard Drive for a nice price. Plenty of room to backup files off my laptop.

It's been about a month and so far I like it. Priced right, pretty compact, lots of space and decent speed.
