    Needed this drive to offload a bunch of audio recordings from the laptop which has limited storage. An easily accessible archive was needed, but not a routine backup. This unit was perfect for the requirement.

    Works excellently even after I dropped it, GASP! It is my third Passport, The first one died after 5 years. Now if the backup software would just allow me to backup the MyCloudHome to it. I would be happy.

    Easy setup and works as expected. No issues so far. The included software on the drive did not work for me, but I did not need it anyway. You may be able to download it from the manufacturer if you need it.

    I love WD external storage. I have several of these of differing sizes as extra storage for our gaming, xbox one, ps4 and pc. These are fast enough to keep up with the original drives found in the above devices.
