    I purchased two of these - one to backup a 4TB WD drive that sunset due to age and was unreadable by Windows, and one to backup a 4TB drive that was overheating (not a WD drive). The old WD 4TB drive byte-to-byte backup took about 4 days, but was well worth it! The overheating drive backup took much less time and worked perfectly. Great purchase!

    The first unit I received in the mail started clicking as soon as I plugged it into my laptop. Neither my laptop nor Xbox One could read it. After a few attempts the hard drive finally registered on both devices. I ended up exchanging the first unit I received and the hard drive has been working flawlessly since.
