I use it to store videos of old movies and depending on the collective size and length of said movies, it can hold approximately 400-500 movies.

I have a couple of these WD-MyPassports, they have lasted for years, I've never had one go bad. I use these for backing up my computer, laptop, wife's laptop and mom's laptop. Also for transferring files between computers. Absolutely love these, and since they're USB 3.0, very fast for a HDD.

Definitely need it for all of the large files for my projects. Im glad i paid a little extra for more space instead of having so many external hard drives around.

I wanted a portable drive for local storage of my files. Cloud storage is fine but I like the redundancy that this drive provides.

Definitely a great device to have , 10/10 . Brought the wrong item but was tempted to keep . May purchase again .

Works as advertised. I stire all my videos for editing here. Frees up my HDD and i can taki it anywhere for plug and play.

I really found it very easy to use first in moving files from my old pc to my new one and using it for my back up drive as well. Very happy in the external drive.

This device is soo small yet so mighty! I was able to back up 2 PC's on this Hard Drive. Extremely quiet and efficient. Absolutely worth every dollar! Definitely Recommend

It works great, simple to navigate with windows. I did have to return the first one because it stopped working within a day but the process was quick.

I use a WD - My Passport at home and at work. They are so reliable that I convince my boss to switched to WD. I love the password protection option you can place on them. There customer service is spot on and commmunication clearly with you. This a great brand and you will love it!

This is an easy one: bigger is always better! Although the average person may never fill an entire 20TB hard drive, if you find a WD external drive with a larger storage capacity that’s within in your budget, go for it.
