I bought 2 of these to start. One for my son and one for myself. He has autism and likes ro access all his videos on his laptop. He loaded his fist one with movies and lost everything. The warranty covers the drive but not data retrieval. I ended up purchasing a 3rd as back up incase his failed again so I would have his 1000 videos saved if anything went wrong again. It took weeks for the warranty replacement to arrive and he was anxious without it so i had to go out and buy a 4th drive. (Over $400 into drives now) i dont know if he is bumping them around too much or what the couse is for failer. The 2nd and 3rd drive have now gone bad. Going to try a differnt brand and type after this mess. My backup drive is still working but it sets in a safe and is never jostled around till needed. Still waiting for replacement on the second drive and reply on the 3rd. Warranty honors replacement but one cant keep losing data. Wanted to give 2 star but gave an extra for customer service.

It does what it is supposed to do. Very compact. I am liking it so far. Build is solid.

So far works great. 5TB is a lot of storage space compared to my old 2TB one.

I used this to backup 2 computers and 2 other back up drives and I still have lots of room.

Have been using the passport for some time now with now issues. Reliability as expected.

I was able to store a lot of photos without having to just delete them from my phone.

Bought this for my sons gaming system, he's able to store his purchased games on there. He loves it

If you need a lot of storage for a cheap price then this is the way to go. It's not very fast but it gets the job done. The drive comes with a usb 3.0 cable. Be aware that if you plug this in to a usb hub then it better be powered. The drive needs power or it clicks and chugs. Once it has power then it works just fine, transfers around 100 to 110 mb/sec. I haven't tried loading a game onto it but I would imagine it should work fine.

Looking forward to this Drive lasting longer than the other did. Seems to load quickly. Compatible w Apple!

No issues. I like the small size. As advertised. Also considered the Samsung, but his one was cheaper.

I had to get a EHD for my PS5 and this is the perfect match.

I have several of these and they are always nice for storing files!

This is a good drive from a good brand at a fair price.
