Great little drive for file backups. Quickly accesses the files once saved.

This is a really good brand with excellent capacity.

Initially I was looking for a USB stick drive to back up my laptop. After talking to a tech on the floor he recommended an external hard drive because of the amount of time it would take to back up 200 Gig. This drive worked flawlessly and fast.

Purchasing an external hard drive was a good choice. It is sleek and useful.

Works for what I need. Like all hard drives, Western Digital requires you to download their softonto your computer. I use it as a time machine for my Mac mini, so I only needed to reformat it. I change out my hard drives every 3 years, and this is my 8th WD. Cable is always solid. No issues yet.

Value product. I'm using for backup my original HDD.

Got the best price in town in your sale, and picked it up curbside an hour later. It doesn't get any better! You have very few competitors left in business and it is easy to see why. You were better than all of them.

Never had any problems EVER with WD USB drives. I have 3 in use at the moment to store my ever increasing video library. All super fast and no data loss.

Hey. Hey... Got this because i had to have a back up. My only choice at the location i was at…very slow. Nature of the hard drive and USB…but is fine. Just way way too slow for me. USB-C way better and decent speed which i finally got

This is soooo very nice, especially for tge price. I absolutely love this!! It works very fast when i use it to charge my cell-FAST especially sice im using my music app. I really wish i would have bought more.

Its brand new so I can't speak to longevity...but I've bought WD Passports before and they are my go to portable hard drive. They come with a 3 year warranty. Don't drop them and they will probably last you a long time.

I am buying this product for 2nd time. I have it earlier and found out really useful. Need to restructure it a bit slimmer version.

This drive worked perfectly at first, then began malfunctioning same day I got it. It works some days and other days my computer won't recognize the drive. I would format it but that would mean deleting some very important files. I got this so the photos for my photography class won't take up too much space on my laptop (plus I'm a graphic design major so space is already limited as is), but this drive is already malfunctioning. How am I supposed to have clear memory space when this drive can't be recognizable by my laptop?? I've tried everything, even bought new USBs to see if the USB that came with the drive was the problem but NOPE. From the looks of it, I doubt I can get some of the files I already have in the drive back and transferred into a different drive and I don't want to potentially spend so much money on getting these files back, college is already as expensive as it is. Very disappointed, will start looking into different brands of external hard drives.

External 5TB Solid State Drive works well. I will probably buy another.

Fantastic for backing up my computer. I have a lot of trust in Western Digital HDDs and they haven't let me down yet!
