I've got this on my main system ( a laptop ) to hold an archive of Data, Videos & Music. It's small size and large capacity are ideal for what I'm using it for. WD has a good reputation with me.

I have about 15 of these (WD Passports of various capacities) from the past several years. I keep buying them because they are easy to use, and reliable - have never had them crash or get corrupted.

Light and sleek, easily travelled with. Great price for the amount of storage.

Purchased this drive for storage of my pictures and data. It's a fast drive for what it's being used for. Transfers are pretty quick and I don't notice stutters when doing some light video editing on it. It takes up very little room on my desk.

This product works great! The transfer speed is fast. Like most other external hard drives I have had, it gets a little hot if you transfer files for too long. Give it a 30-60 minute break, come back, and keep going to prevent overheating during massive backups.

All the extra storage that you need. Super fast and easy to use.

Great value for 5 TB of storage so I'm super happy with that. It works as expected just perfectly. The included software is okay but a slight hassle to set up the first time. I guess if you needed some of the encryption features it'd be great but I haven't messed around with that

It works great as a external drive. I used it to back up my iPhone photos, and other work documents from my computer. It is compact and light, you can carry it around in your pocket or briefcase.

Had to replace my external HDD for my Xbox one. I like this HDD better. It’s smaller and doesn’t require a power source, yet it’s capacity is 5TB. Completely satisfied

I own nearly 50 of this WD passport 4 or 5 TB drives and they have been real work horses. I use them for editing HD and 4 K on a 2013 IMAC and they still wonderfully! I'm buying two more today!

Easily picked up at the store. Already have a couple of these. Great product so far. If you need the capacity and can afford it, buying one is a no-brainer! Very satisfied.

Very portable, comes with its own backup software. Enough storage to backup my entire laptop and movie library. Now I can travel with just one backup drive.

Lots of storage for a great price and still fairly compact. If you’re going to go regular external over SSD, this is a great option!
