I have no problems with this drive. It's small and easily powered through 1 USB port. Works like a charm.

I am using this for Time Machine backups of my MacBook Air. I do full backups sem-iannually and have done only one since I purchased the drive. However it worked very well and I expect it will continue to do so. The size is very convenient and it fits neatly in the Insignia case I bought with it. My only suggestion would be to make the cable a bit longer. I would definitely buy it again and can recommend it to others.

Not a whole lot to say about this drive other than huge storage at a phenomenal price point the only downfall is obviously is that it's a mechanical hard disk drive and not a solid state drive but at this price point you can't expect anything more it's perfect for movie and music storage which is what it's used for. connects up to my Xbox series x perfectly and allows me to have plenty of movies and TV shows at my fingertips.

Needed an external storage device that did not over complicate storage. Fouind it with the WD Passport. Lots of space and easy to use.

Went to the store to get a very large thumb drive for backups. Associate recommended this unit which seemed like a better answer. Have used it several times and found it to be both easy and very fast. Glad we did this. And with the large capacity don't need to delete prior content before loading data.
