Great product usb 3.0, just wish it had usb c and outer case more rugged.

Have used WD Passport devices for years without any issues except I need larger and larger ones to store all data we keep. This one replaced an older smaller Passport and it working well as expected.

This item works as intended and holds just about the advertised 5 TB of data. The only problem - if you get it - is that the computer BIOS may not boot properly when it's plugged in. To solve this, unplug the drive, boot normally, then plug the drive back in.

Great for storing files and things where read and write speeds don't matter. Plus, where you don't care it's a disc drive.

The product works as expected with good read and write speeds for a hard drive. This portable hard drive is ideal for bulk storage on the cheap. The only complaint is that the hard drive does not have feet on the bottom laying on a surface.

Product is really good, i am frequently using it and i got it from best buy on very reasonable rate.

Really amazing hard drive was able to hold storage for my ps5 to them being reformatted to hold movies, tv shows, and pictures while I was on deployment

Still haven’t figured out how to use this on my new Mac laptop. Confusing software has made using it on apple OS difficult. Probably works much easier on older apple software and Microsoft

This is surprisingly light weight and compact for a 5 TB hard disk. Just started using it and no concerns so far. Read and write speeds are consistently around 100mbps. Will update my review after few weeks of use.

Easy installation primary usage Windows Operating systems Workstations and Servers. Had to go into management devices to assign drive letter several times, but that is a fairly easy procedure.
