Product came as ordered; slick design and compact. It is limited for portability solely because it is not a solid state drive. I've not been able to get my "eject storage device" function to operate properly, not sure why. Happy with purchase thus far otherwise.

Slow! Plastic built. Runs loudly. The noise makes me wonder how long it'll work. Although it ingests images soooo slowwwwww, it works! Therefore, I'm grateful! I only needed something inexpensive to back up images i already have backed up elsewhere. So, it serves it's purpose.

I went in to best buy specifically looking for a external hard drive and couldn't find where they were located but thanks to the helpful and friendly employees at the Huntsville location I was immediatly pointed in the right direction

I was looking to upgrade my PS4 hard drive but its expensive to upgrade the internal hard drive with any SSD drive over 1TB. So I was researching and found this drive. It accesses the games faster then the original drive which you need that for gaming!

WD makes good drives. This one is a nice size and form factor.

I have purchased 3-4 of these over the years and have had zero issues with them, which is why I bought another one. I can't even use it because it is making me download a program on my computer to run it, then it has made me download two other separate programs for whatever reason. Even after going through all of these ridiculous steps, it still isn't letting me put anything on the hard drive. I have never had this issue before, and I have never had to download anything before other than the WD discovery app, If I buy an external hard drive, I want to be able to easily save things to it without having to go through a million steps, and this is not that. I wish I was within the return timeframe because I'd like to get my money back, but I'm just going to throw away this piece of junk since it doesn't work.

Fantastic for backing up my computer. I have a lot of trust in Western Digital HDDs and they haven't let me down yet!

Never had any problems EVER with WD USB drives. I have 3 in use at the moment to store my ever increasing video library. All super fast and no data loss.

I am buying this product for 2nd time. I have it earlier and found out really useful. Need to restructure it a bit slimmer version.

So far working great. 5TB works good, good space, sturdy.

It's worth for this price for purchasing and overall good experience from Best buy.

This was initially a great purchase. MORE than enough room. All of a sudden, the drive wont open. And best buy is saying they cannot help me at all. The tech said he cant see anything on the drive and says i need to buy a new one. This one has years of images and docs i absolutely need! Cannot be accessed.
