    Much faster than my many other external portable hard drives. Loads without delay and reads/writes almost as fast as the built-in hard drive on my computer. Much better than the old WD books.

    Needed to back up a lot of files and pictures. Great on file transfer speed. Only problem has been to "eject" ext. drive. Keeps saying in use, can't eject. I've just unplugged it and it has been fine. I still have over 4 TB remaining so will have plenty of room for the future.

    The 5TB External HD is excellent. I have tons of memory for my photos, In addition, I can move this hard drive to my other two computers.

    A good drive. Not the fanciest, but a very good value. I have used it to backup several clients computers while upgrading them. It also gets used to transfer larger files and folders.

    Bought this to use as an external drive for my Ps4. It works great and it downloads surprisingly fast. Well at least faster than the Ps4... Set up was a breeze. Good product and I would buy again

    I use it connected to my Synology NAS USB port to move security camera recordings weekly for storage. It works great and stays cool. Draws power via USB thus no need for a power cable.

    Good overall design, everything expected this hard drive to be. Would prefer these drives to be SSD, but I suppose that's not something to held against this model knowing it's an HDD. Use this with a MAC, so be sure to format correctly out of the box.

    The product is excellent. Unfortunately, the only way to use it in a MAC device is by formatting it. And there is no explanation about it in the box!
